Request for PE readings

I am currently running a semester abroad program in Tanzania with the theme Wildlife Conservation and Political Ecology, and would really like to get recommendations on recent relevant readings introducing students to the concept of political ecology, addressing it in the context of sub-Saharan Africa, and highlighting key issues of relevance to the program.
